All he can do is confront the situation. However, when it doesn’t quite go as planned, he’s left debating how much of their relationship is still repairable. The hurt has been building for years, and no mater how forgiving one may be, this is bound to sting deep beneath the surface. We want to feel loved, seen and valued by our parents, and just because we may come across as less demanding than a sibling, does not mean that we deserve any less of those things.
